Yet another commercial added to the Air Jordan Become Legendary campaign, this commercial is being called “Maybe”. As you can see, Michael Jordan talks negative about himself, but turns it around to motivate the next “Michael Jordan” out there to keep working. The Air Jordan Become Legendary: Maybe commercial is a little over 1 minute, so enjoy.

  1. MAYBE Jordan was overrated? Maybe Tobe is better? Maybe Lebron will make u forget MJ & Tobe. Maybe this whole Legendary thing is getting whack!

  2. DC DunKing: Maybe Kobe(who the hell is Tobe?)should stop tryin'to be like Mike. Maybe Lebron will make you forget about winning chapionships & MVP'S, ummm…maybe you forgot MJ won 6 titles – MVP'S 5. (Lebron & Kobe combined…0). Maybe Lebron and Kobe will make you forget about winning the gold(MJ 2, Lebron& Kobe combined 0!) Maybe you're just hatin' on the best ever. Or….maybe ur just an idiot?

  3. maybe your gay mraj2345? defending someone who doesn't give 2 shits about whether you eat tonight or not. Typical white boy shit. Thank you for pointing out all the acolytes from those players as if we didnt know already…nobody is hating on mike. Maybe were tired of all this legendary talk? Its disrespectful to all the other players and the sport. Not to mention legends dont need to continually remind people that he or she is a legend. Less commercials and less marketing would be appreciated.

  4. Maybe Jordan and Spike Lee claimed that its's gotta be the shoe?

Maybe Jordan is now controdicting what he was always caiming and

now giving his hard work the credit.

Maybe knowone realy knows or cares………

  5. Fuck every 1 who dissin the legendary commercials/ If u understand he talks about how kids now a days only saw da the flash of mjs career, they dont know all da hard work he did 2 get there/ he should inspire u 2 work hard/if u knew da man inside out u would hav a whole nother perspective of mike/sayin dat im only 13 i he inspires me 2 go out on da b ball court and giv it my all/ Much respect Michael Jordan, much respect

  6. maybe…everyone should get a life than argue/diss a commericals that speaks true words…MJ's failures and success made him the greatest player…

  7. Jordan overrated or not…I think that its a very decent commercial. IMO its not only for the basketball sport itself. All those questions can be applied to alot of other career choices. In the end you do have to ask yourself "Maybe you're just making excuses?" (Like why I just gotta have the cool gray iced spizikes?)No matter how many Jordan brand shoes come out there will be legions of fans of his franchise (people that want to cash in by selling his shoes at inflated prices on ebay)drooling to cop his shoes like crack heads hitting a rock.

  8. All I have to say is ignorance. People these days talk straight from their ass. Kobe this, Lebron this, MJ is overrated, Fuck That… MJ is the scale others have tried to measure up.

  9. It's tellin ppl tht it wasn't easy you gotta work hard to be good. He wants other to become legendary hence it sayin "become legendary" DC king if u saying Jordan isn't a legend u on crack. everyone know who Jordan is for what he did on the court. One of his most famous quotes is "I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." thats real talk.

  10. alifeva…Gay?? not hardly. Why did I mention the comparisons to Mike with Lebron and Kobe? Because he is the standard to which basketball excellence is measured. I played 8 seasons in the league while Mike was playin' and when you where on the court with him it's the very highest level you can push yourself to. So, maybe he is trying to tell everyone that wants to succeed they have to put in the time and effort to be legendary. He doesn't claim to be to a legend. Society and the game, players, fans alike have put that label on him. And in my opinion deservedly so. He was never overrated. He brought it every damn night and I can testify to that. A work ethic like no other. So until you've played against or with the man. Give him the respect he deserves for reviving the game when it was in trouble and made it possible for the Kobe's,Lebron's and others to have someone to even be compared to. He sure as hell inspired me to work harder, longer, and with much more respect for the game. Maybe you should really listen to the words in the commercial. It might make things clearer to you.

    Peace,

    MJ 23

  11. alifeva,

Just so you know. I DO care about who eat's or not tonight as well as every night. Also, my nephew posted the first comment this morning. I apologize for that. But, I assure you that the commercial is focused on the idea to inspire and insert a sense of commitment to young people and NOT to be as Mike was but to be even more driven to exceed the goals they have set for themselves with the inspiration the message in the spot aired has to offer young and old alike. To succeed you must fail. Only then, MAYBE someone can be LEGENDARY.

    Peace,

    MJ 23

  12. yes when it comes to individual awards jordan is better than kobe/lebron when it comes to rings jordan is better than kobe/lebron oh and for all the kobe fans out there kobe is good he does have rings but he got them with shaq jordan did it with no center under the basket to rebound his missed shots jordan made the players around him better jordan was an all around great player scoring rebounding stealing assist and kobe and lebron are just slot machines just scoring jordan did that as a rookie and in his 2 and 3rd year in the league and seen it got him and his bulls no where so he kept scoring while elevating different aspects of his game bottom line is in baseball you ask whos the best player people say babe ruth, hank aaron, alex rodriguez, you ask whos the best player in football people say joe montana, walter peyton, jerry rice, and the answere changes depending in what city you are but when it comes to basketball no matter what city your in no matter who it is you ask whos the best player to ever play the game of basketball it will always be the same answere michael jordan……
