The Air Jordan 8 ‘Three Time’s a Charm’ celebrates Michael Jordan’s first three peat against the Lakers, Trailblazers and Suns, which debuts during the month of October.
On the road to winning his first 3-Peat, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls defeated the L.A. Lakers in 1991, Portland Trailblazers in 1992 and the Phoenix Suns in 1993. Jordan Brand will celebrate the achieve on the Air Jordan 8.
Originally, we called the Air Jordan 8 ‘3-Peat’ since technically they are to celebrate the dynasty, but Jordan Brand said the official name is ‘Three Time’s a Charm’. Using a white leather base, black wraps the heel, but highlights or purple, orange and red to represent each team the Bulls beat to win in the Finals is on the midsole and tongue.
Speaking of the tongue, instead of the fuzzy Jordan patch that usually comes on the Air Jordan 8, Jordan Brand has used a new label that was seen on sample pairs.
