The all red everything trend is beginning to wane, and now blue seems to be making its way onto a variety of sneaker models. Today, we get to check out Mache Customs‘ newest project, where he truly dives into the blue hues and brings them together, seamlessly.
The Air Jordan 4 “Pantone Fade” customs by Mache Customs have a gradient effect applied to them, using five different shades of blue throughout the shoes. Except for lacing and the interior lining, the uppers of these AJ4s are entirely blue, or some shade of blue. Even the netting found on the midfoot and tongue see multiple layers of blue. Parts of the midsole are dark blue, with the rear mudguard sharing some of the gradient effect with the uppers. A clean, white outsole provides a solid contrasting base for the monochromatic uppers. Branding is covered in blue on the tongues, while a prominent Jumpman logo arrives in white, on the heel panels.
We’re loving these Pantone themed Air Jordan 4s! That fade is giving us chills, and the overall design is simple and clean. Check out another angle of the shoes down below!
