New images have surfaced of the elusive Air Jordan 1 Retro ‘Banned’. Still not much is known about the sneaker that has been seen only a few times.

This version looks to be a sample of what could be a potential final retail release… that is if they ever make it to retail. While these have a regular box associated with them, if they go to retail we just might see that OG styled box that we saw earlier last year. The insole features the words from the ’85 ‘BANNED’ Commercial, a 10.18.85 signifies the date in which David Stern banned the kicks from the league and also represents the OG by placing it on the inner sock liner where one used to find their size printed. Premium textured leather looks to be used as well as the return of the Nike Air on the tongue tab.

Again, no official release information is available at this time but stay tuned for future updates… and crossing your fingers couldn’t hurt either.
