In February we brought you a look at a Nike Air Max Turnaround Player Exclusive belonging to German NBA All-Star Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks. Around that time, however, a fellow teammate of Nowitzki in Drew Gooden was included in a number of trades that eventually landed Gooden with the Los Angeles Clippers. During that move, Gooden also brought along with him a Nike Hypermax Player Exclusive that we would like to now show you (and sports the number 90 he wore when with the Mavericks). It comes in a predominantly white upper with some navy and royal blue accents throughout. Enjoy the pictures of this very clean-looking Nike Hypermax PE after the jump, as you probably will not be able to get your hands on these too easily.

Emeka Okafor has been a solid and consistent asset to the New Orleans Hornets, with constant blocks, rebounds, dunks, and the list goes on. That’s why Nike blessed the big man with his own player exclusive Nike Hypermax, which comes in home and away colorways. To match the Hornets uniform, the shoes follow a purple/teal colorway, using white and black as the base on each shoe, respectively. “The Pick 50″ is stitched at the back heel panel to commemorate #50 of the Hornets and how they really scored bigtime with Okafor’s signing. Be sure to watch out Chukwuemeka on the court with these bad babies soon.

With the new basketball season right around the corner, Nike has released a few more colorways of the Nike Hypermax to add to the Team Bank. Black/white, white/black, and white/varsity red colorways have been slapped on the Hypermax base to match your teams’ basketball gear. These shoes are available on the Niketown site for $130 each. Get ‘em while they last, because they’ll be going quick.

Look’s like Halloween made it early with Nike’s latest release of the Nike Hypermax in a black/black-total orange-varsity purple colorway. Such a complicated colorway for what seems to be a black shoe. The shoe consists of a black leather upper, a black printed swoosh, and black Flywire technology. The dark tone is nicely contrasted by total orange accents on the ankle strap, tongue, and clear midsole. On sale now for $130.

The Nike “McFly” Hypermax hearkens forward to Michael J. Fox’s Nike Air Mag he wore in “Back II The Future 2″ in a futuristic 2015 urban environment. The Hyper’s jetstream grey/pale blue/hot pink color scheme matches the Mag’s schema and features several hints from the electronic shoe, including the striped ankle strap and vibrant sockliner. The Hypermax is among Nike’s premier basketball products for 2009, but this special make-up features a nylon upper as opposed to one covered in Flywire strands. Cushioining is provided via Lunar Foam and an Air Max unit. Look for the Nike “McFly” Hypermax in limited numbers at select House of Hoops locations later this year.

The Nike Hypermax is Nike Basketball’s ’09 evolution of the infamous Hyperdunk. The H’Max caught inspiration from Marty McFly’s futuristic Nike Air Mag electronic sneakers in the “Back To the Future” flicks. The model’s grey/powder blue/hot pink scheme matches the Mag’s colorway. The Hypermax features a nylon upper and Air Max cushioning for added comfort. There’s no word as to when these will release, but we’ll update when more information surfaces!

The Nike Hypermax is the latest Flywire foray from the Nike Basketball camp. The Hypermax is augmented in the cushioning department by a full-length Air Max sole unit. Combine that with a sturdy ankle strap, reinforced ankle collar, and Flywire cointainment technology, and the Hypermax seems perfectly suited for even the most tenacious lane violators. The shoe will hit in a bevy of team colorways, including the white/orange color scheme pictured above and after the jump.
