The classic Nike Air Safari is set to return in a big way this Fall.

One such release will be this VNTG version of the 1987 kicks. The shoe features an orange nylon tongue and toebox, orange suede midfoot, and black safari print leather accents on the mudguard, heel, and collar. The shoe also appears to be receiving the vintage treatment with a yellowed midsole and gum outsole completing the look.

The Nike Air Safari Vintage is set to drop this Fall in this orange/black colorway. Stick with SneakerFiles for more details on the upcoming drop.

Last year the Nike Air Safari was pegged as one of the Nike silhouettes used to help pay homage to Spike Lee. In 2010, the Nike Air Safari makes one of its first appearances in a colorway that has over the last couple of years won over so many sneakerheads. Pictured here is the Nike Air Safari in a purple/black-white colorway and with safari print along different parts of the entire upper, including the heel and beneath the toe box. However, the purple shoe laces and ankle lining also seem to include a safari-like print. These have arrived now at select overseas retailers for those of you who can’t wait to see whether or not they’ll see a stateside release.

This month, Nike have released some nice safari-inspired colorways for their Big Nike Hi and Air Safari models. The Nike Big Nike High LE sports a white/black-crimson colorway, while the Nike Air Safari 87 LE comes in a similar dark grey/black-jetstream-crimson colorway. Both shoes use full leather uppers in their respective colorways, along with grey safari print nubuck panels. The safari pattern on the Big Nike even takes over the back NIKE logo to give the shoe a nice change. The Air Safari has classic colorway written allover it, as it resembles popular colorways from before. This safari pack is available now in stores and on eBay.

Tinker Hatfield’s monumental Nike Air Safari is back for another go around, set to see two new releases for this year’s holiday season. Responsible for perpetuating Nike‘s safari print, the model was last released back in 2003. Now, six years later, the sneaker is being fitted with colorways in Black/Orange/White and Black/Grey/Lt. Grey. You can expect both colorways to hit Nike retailers in time for the Holidays.
