This year has been huge for Bo Jackson’s signature Air Trainer SC II with tons of releases dropping throughout 2011.  Now, one of the best colorways yet is available to cop.

The most recent drop sees the Trainers done up in a classic Raiders colorway, for whom Bo played in Los Angeles from 1987 to 1990.  The kicks sport a black nubuck upper, anthracite accents, and a white outsole.

You can pick these up now from Nike Sportswear retailers like Premier for $110.

Bo knows classics. And in 1989, Jackson took on every competitive sport around in his Air Trainer SC II. Building on one the most popular Nike cross training models of all time is tough, but the added padding in the ankle and forefoot support strap were welcome changes to this classic. Miss these and “You Don’t Know Diddley.”

Everyone knows eBay is a great source for Sneakerheads to find rare gems that might not be readily available at your typical sneaker shop.

One rare gem available now is a DS pair of Nike Air Trainer 1.2 Mids autographed by Bo Jackson himself. These sneakers were raffled off at the One for All Pack Event at NikeTown NY. Only 12 pairs were raffled and these are one of them. Along with the sneakers comes an awesome custom wooden shoe box fully decked out with engravings and branding logos as well as a limited poster which is numbered 1 of 12.

Bo Jackson and Nike has been a big part of Nike training today, so lets look back at one of his classics- Nike Air Trainer Max ’91. This shoe is most Trainer heads favorite, it is a second retro of the grey/yellow colorway, but this time you’ll get a nubuck upper opposed to the thick durabuck upper that was used in the original. Now if you missed out on the last retro 10 years ago, these are set to release in the month of August but some online venders like Premier have a couple pairs in stock.

If you thought you were set with your pair of Bo Jackson Nike Air Trainer SCs in the Raiders colorway, you were wrong. Nike has made another retro colorway for the signature shoe of the football star. The Nike Air Trainer SC High comes in a white/neutral grey-beet-medium grey colorway to implement the classic white/red/black mockup. This shoe utilizes a white leather base with a grey mudguard, red midsole, and a colorful outsole to give the shoe its vintage 90′s look. These Bo Jacksons are available now as a Holiday 2009 release, and you can get your own pair on the ‘Bay.

With the latest retro of the Nike Air Trainer SC out now, Nike has even more planned for Bo Jackson’s signature shoe. The Nike Air Trainer Low SC is featured in a brown colorway. But, there’s something special about this particular shoe. These use a special leather material known as “greasy,” which is similar to the material on baseball gloves. The leather shows signs of wear after continuous use of the shoes, which gives the shoe a unique look for each person rocking these. Also, these use Flywire on the upper, along with laser etching at the ankle, which reads “Bo Knows 1989.” You should see these for Summer 2010.

For NY Knicks and Mets fans, the White/Grey/Orange Nike Air Trainer SC High’s recently made available must have been a welcome release. Nike seems poised to help this iconic sneaker’s success continue with at least two more colorways slated to release next summer. The first colorway pictured here sports a predominantly white base with navy blue and grey accents, while the second pair of Nike Air Trainer SC High’s contains the same white base with red and dark grey accents. With these conservative, but popular colorways, Nike is sure to grab many sneakerheads’ attention and dollars come Summer of 2010. Which pair, if any, are you most excited for?
