With the latest retro of the Nike Air Trainer SC out now, Nike has even more planned for Bo Jackson’s signature shoe. The Nike Air Trainer Low SC is featured in a brown colorway. But, there’s something special about this particular shoe. These use a special leather material known as “greasy,” which is similar to the material on baseball gloves. The leather shows signs of wear after continuous use of the shoes, which gives the shoe a unique look for each person rocking these. Also, these use Flywire on the upper, along with laser etching at the ankle, which reads “Bo Knows 1989.” You should see these for Summer 2010.

For NY Knicks and Mets fans, the White/Grey/Orange Nike Air Trainer SC High’s recently made available must have been a welcome release. Nike seems poised to help this iconic sneaker’s success continue with at least two more colorways slated to release next summer. The first colorway pictured here sports a predominantly white base with navy blue and grey accents, while the second pair of Nike Air Trainer SC High’s contains the same white base with red and dark grey accents. With these conservative, but popular colorways, Nike is sure to grab many sneakerheads’ attention and dollars come Summer of 2010. Which pair, if any, are you most excited for? As reported before, the Nike Air Trainer SC in White/Grey/Orange – Stealth is now available at select Nike retailers. Paying homage to Bo Jackon’s playing days at Auburn, these were first released in 1989 and haven’t been retroed since. Many sneakerheads have been anticipating this release and for a price of $105USD these will be hard to pass up.

2009 has been a good year for Bo Jackson, as yet another Nike model honoring the multi-sport athlete has hit the web. In this stage of his lengthy homage, the Nike Air Max Light gets taken for a spin, channeling Bo’s days in the MLB. The Kansas City Royals inspired colorway features the standard pixelated Jackson tongue-tag, but lacks the heavy pixel-ridden upper, the graphic building block subtly retreating to light accent work on the blue toe and heel sections. Nike has been cleaning up with multi-sport superstar Bo Jackson these past few weeks, paying homage to the retired athlete through an assortment of different shoes. On top of the Nike Air Trainer II LE and Nike Blazer Mid models we saw earlier this week, pictures of a new Nike Air Trainer I tribute have got people talking. Similar to the Tecmo Blazers, this Blue and White Royals inspired colorway features a pixelated pattern and a 16-Bit Bo Jackson tag on the tongue. No details on a release date yet, but Nike seems to be giving anything with a Bo Jackson twist the green light.

As part of Nike’s “Tecmo Bo” pack, which is a tribute pack to super- athlete Bo Jackson, the Nike Blazer Mid has released. The shoe sports a Kansas City Royals colorway with a pixelated design which pays homage to the 1989 SNES “Tecmo Bowl” video game. The upper is made of blue suede, along with a blue mesh tongue, and blue midsole. The opposite side of the tongue features a characterization of the video game to really suit the cause. This shoe is available now.

Nike’s Air Trainer II (2) is a reinterpretation of Bo Jackson’s classic shoe, the Nike Air Trainer SC. This “Bo Jackson” pair is toned up in the Oakland Raiders’ colorway and features a black nubuck upper with a silver foil Swoosh and midsole hints. A black patent strap is placed across the midfoot. The Nike Air Trainer II (2) LE “Bo Jackson” will hit select Swoosh accounts later this month.
