After being informed of a “Silver Anniversary” colorway getting applied to the Air Jordan II silhouette, which released at the end of last month, Jordanheads all over wondered if they would see the return of any OG colorways on this particular Air Jordan model. Well, you’ll see at least one. Pictured here is the white/black-varsity red Air Jordan II, which will see a retro release this coming May 1st, 2010. If you recall, this was an iconic shoe off the simple fact that it signaled a move away from the dominating Nike swoosh seen on the Air Jordan I. The Air Jordan brand began coming into its own, and now this Air Jordan II returns 24 years later. Enjoy more pictures of this retro Air Jordan II after the jump.

Last week we got our first look at the “Brown Croc” pair of Air Jordan IIs that sprung up seemingly out of nowhere. While the idea of using a crocodile skin patterning on an Air Jordan silhouette might sound intriguing at first, several were not particularly impressed with the first look at this Air Jordan II. However, now more pictures of this sneaker have surfaced- offering us a second, slightly more detailed look. With the brown color dominance and MJ’s known affinity for cigars, rumors are that that is where the inspiration for this pair of AJ IIs comes from. However, we can still only speculate as to the red wax stamp near the ankle. So take a closer look at the Air Jordan II “Brown Croc” after the jump, and let us know your reactions.

Last weekend, a bunch of team Jordan Brand members who play in the NBA caught many of us sneakerheads by surprise by putting on a display of different Air Jordan XIIs. Jordan Brand seems to have done it again. Pictured here is a pair of the Air Jordan II retro in a predominantly brown colorway. But at second glance you can also tell that parts of the heel and area between the mudguard and ankle include brown crocodile skin. Moreover, the sole is completely black. Lastly, along the outer ankle area of this pair of shoes there is what resembles a red wax stamp that seems to read “Bin 23.” Needless to say, very little is yet known with respect to this Air Jordan II or if it will even release. For now, enjoy pictures of this mystery Air Jordan II after the jump and know that we’ll bring you any news that comes up.

Over the last two years, we’ve only seen three retro releases of the Air Jordan II- one came in a CountDown Package with an Air Jordan XXI that not too many were excited about. The other two were extremely limited: one was an online drop that paid homage to rapper Eminem, and the other was a part of the Doernbecher Charity. But 2010 could be a mini Air Jordan II revival year, as we already know of an Air Jordan II in metallic silver releasing. Now, another pair of the Air Jordan II- this one in a white/orange/navy colorway- has been confirmed for a Spring 2010 drop. The pair pictured here shows the back heel sporting “NIKE,” but things could very well change between now and release date. So enjoy the pictures we’ve provided here and stay tuned for developing news.

In the middle of October we caught a glimpse of an Air Jordan II in a White/Metallic Silver colorway that is set to release at some point in 2010. We haven’t seen many general release AJ IIs as of late, such as the pair that came with the AJ XXI in one of the 2008 countdown packages. But this is also going to be viewed as a great release for many Jordan lovers because although it is not a OG colorway, it is nonetheless a rather appealing color scheme. So, we now bring you some more detailed pictures of this shoe as we await more official word regarding next year’s release of this Air Jordan II.

Earlier this year, a lot of sneaker- and jordanheads got really excited upon getting word of a possible Slam Dunk Package from Jordan Brand, which could include white/cement grey III’s and white/red/black II’s. The AJ II got even more love when we showed you a preview picture of the Air Jordan 2010, in which an AJII can be spotted in the background.

Now, we bring you a look at another Air Jordan II retro reportedly releasing at some time in 2010. This pair comes in a predominantly white upper with silver/grey accents most notably on the toe box and heel of the shoe. And as a result of the silver/grey materials used, depending on how the light hits your shoe, you could or could not get the same reflective look as seen on certain AJV’s, for example. What do you guys think? Is this a nice look for the AJII? Who’s buying these? Check out more pix after the jump.
