Jordan Brand will launch several Air Jordan 2 with an exotic makeover. One of those is the Air Jordan 2 “Python” that will be released in January 2024.
In 1986, we saw the Air Jordan 2 debut to retailers. Shortly after, Nike launched a similar pair known as the Air Python. This rendition used the upper from the Air Jordan 2 and the midsole from the AF2. As a nod to the model, Jordan Brand will debut the Air Jordan 2 “Python” in January 2024. This won’t be the only pair dropping. The brand will also launch a women’s pair and a low-top iteration.
This Air Jordan 2 comes dressed in a White, Fire Red, Black, Sail, and Cement Grey color combination. Combining the Python textures and original colors, it’s a perfect cross between the sneakers. Highlighting the shoes is the Python texture across the lateral and medial sides, which is less than its Air Python counterpart. Furthermore, the design comprises a mixture of Silver and 3M reflective details.
Next, White leather takes over the upper, tongue, and collar with the traditional perforations on the sides. Black adorns the pipping, liner, and heels with Nike block branding. Other details include the Wings logo on the tongues and hangtag, Sail on the eyelets and midsole, while a Cement Grey, Sail, and Black rubber outsole complete the design.

The Air Jordan 2 “Python” will be released at select Jordan Brand retailers and online via Nike.com on January 20th, 2024. Launching in full family sizes, the retail price is $175 for men, $140 for grade school, $85 for preschool, and $65 for toddler sizes.
