It’s been a while since we last saw a glimpse of Nike SB’s November Dunk release. Today, Caliroots gives us a detailed look at the Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium in the dark chocolate colorway. The Nike Dunk Mid features a full chocolate brown suede upper with brown nubuck panels and a dark midsole. The shoe definitely takes after a classic boot design, as the boot laces give it away. The outsole is donned in a sparkling opaque detail to add some flavor to the mix. The suede upper really gives this SB a boot-feel, making this a clean pair of shoes to do just about anything in. Last week we were really excited to report that this year’s edition of the Nike Dunk (High) “Day of the Dead” was going to release ON Halloween from out of stateside House of Hoops locations. Unfortunately for fans of this shoe, like myself, we have now received word of another Nike flip-flop: this Nike Dunk High “Day of the Dead” will not be made available at House of Hoops. If something changes again, we’ll obviously and most definitely relay that information to you. However, it seems like- at least for now- you’ll have to do a little more hunting than a big House of Hoops location to get your hands on these.

Many have been looking forward to trying to get their hands on one or all of the shoes included in Nike’s 2009 Day of the Dead Collection. Favored by many more than any other shoe in the pack is the Nike Dunk High Premium, which will be a quickstrike release. However, we now have word that on Saturday October 31, 2009, stateside House of Hoops locations will have these on sale- and just in time for Halloween and the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday on November 2nd. Needless to say, these will be in high demand, and supplies might not last too long. So if you’re feeling these and don’t want to pay above retail, then make sure you’re in line early.

The last we heard of the Nike Dunk High Skinny, it was dropping in a metallic pack for the ladies. We now can show you better pictures of the cherry red pair briefly previewed for you before, as well as of a gold pair. The gold Nike Dunk High Skinny’s have been seen popping up at certain Nike retailers already, meaning the cherry red pair isn’t too far behind. For accuracy’s sake- the mid panels on both pairs of shoes actually consist of glimmer material; and, both pairs are topped off with black midsoles and shoelaces. Which pair do you think looks better- or is this one a draw?

Last month, the SB Dunk Low “Chirping Bird” made quite a bit of noise in the sneaker community (pun intended). The design still entails a black suede upper with patent leather Nike swoosh and red outsole. Unfortunately, there’s another thing that hasn’t changed since then- these are still in the sample stage. Without a concrete release decision- let alone date- a pair of these Nike SB Dunk Low’s in the usual sample size 9 has become available for sale through ATB. Moreover, a video of the store displaying how the chirping sound works can now be watched via YouTube. At a going rate of $625, who out there likes this pair of Dunk’s so much he/she is willing to pay the hefty price? We might soon find out.

This holiday is, again, shaping up to be one for the AGES. Along with Jordan retros, Air Force 1’s, and Air Max’s, Nike also has planned to drop a couple of Nike Dunk’s on us this holiday season. Here we bring you a picture of yet another high-top Nike Dunk releasing during the holidays. It consists of a predominantly team red & burgundy-ish red upper, along with a gold Nike swoosh and grey sole. Topped off with white laces and what appears to be a fishscale patter along the upper, these are expected to be made available come December, 2009. What do you think of these Nike Dunk High’s?
