All right, all right—only time in the gym will cure those ailments, but I digress. The premium leather uppers and weathered midsole on this batch of Pro Leathers is already makin’ me feel better, anyways!

Parra is no new name when it comes to sneaker collaborations. The independent Holland-based artist has teamed up with Vans and Nike multiple times in the past, and we now have a look at his latest collaboration with Converse. To celebrate a BBQ event in Berlin that will take place tomorrow, Converse has called upon Parra for a new colorway of their classic high-top model. This pair features a white upper accented by a blue bratwurst image that has “Simply The Wrust” on it. Unfortunately, the Parra x Converse Chuck Taylor High was only made in limited quantities and will be given away to friends and family at the aforementioned BBQ.

The latest product from Converse’s skateboarding line is this Chuck Taylor Skate (CTS). This pair yields a navy blue waxed canvas upper accented by a white mid-sole, a gum out-sole, a navy blue toecap, a white Converse logo on the ankle, and a white tongue tag. Though Converse is not too well known for their skateboarding sneakers, their popularity will skyrocket if Converse continues to have solid releases such as this CTS. The Converse Chuck Taylor is a classic basketball silhouette which has been re-issued a plethora of times over the course of the past few years. This time around, Converse is releasing the sneaker with two leather ankle straps that definitely give the classic sneaker a modern twist. The first pair of the Chuck Taylor High Strap hosts a simple white on white colorway with black accents on the mid-sole. The second style yields a black base with white and metallic gold accents. The Converse Chuck Taylor High Strap is expected to release in the Fall and Winter of 2009.

Converse is doing it big with big names in the rock music industry. The shoe company is going “back in black” with AC/DC and even blacker with Metallica. As part of Converse’s Music Collaboration for Fall 2009, four Chuck Taylor All Star Specialty Hi’s will be released; two for AC/DC and two for Metallica. A black/white and red/white pair are dedicated to the former, and a black/multi and white/black pair are saved for the latter. Each shoe has a canvas upper and a white midsole. The AC/DC’s are available now for $55 and $50 respectively. The Metallica’s will be released July 1st for $50 each.

The Converse 1(Hundred) Artist Collection is a year-long collaboration between the Massachusetts brand and independent artists to further the efforts of Converse with Product (Red). Edge of U2 freaked the Chuck Taylor All Star in black/white/red, adding 100 edged shapes to the canvas upper. The pattern represents Converse 100th Anniversary, which was celebrated in 2008. The Edge x Converse 1(Hundred) Chuck Taylor All Star will be available at the Converse Store in London and online.
