This weekend the Obsidian Air Jordan 12 Retro will make a return to Jordan Brand retailers.

Originally released in 1997, the Air Jordan XII Obsidian has been retro before but in a low cut model, but did not sell well in stores.

For the 2012 release, we have obsidian blue tumbled leather on the uppers, white on the midsole and mudguard with reptilian patterns, chrome lace eyelets by the collar, hints of french blue and university blue sprinkled throughout.

Colorway on the Air Jordan 12 Obsidian 2012 box label reads Obsidian/White-French Blue-University Blue and retails for $160. Hitting stores June 23rd 2012 as a general release.
