The Union x Nike Field General will be released in two colorways during the Summer of 2024. One of the pairs will come highlighted in Shimmer and Silt Red and retail for $120.
Union will have another busy year when it comes to collaborations. Nike Sportswear will headline multiple pairs with the help of the Los Angeles-based retailer. The latest collaboration is more exciting than the others because the Nike Field General is returning to retailers. The Field General was originally released in 1982 and was designed for football players. Although it has been over 40 years since its initial debut, the retro release of the silhouette will be intended for lifestyle use.
Union will debut two colorways of the Nike Field General, which will be the first time that the model returns in retro form. One of the color options will come dressed in Shimmer and Silt Red. Utilizing a premium theme, the shoes feature suede, mesh, and leather. Highlighted with Shimmer across the base, eyestays, and overlays around the heels. Next, a shade of Brown appears on the weave-patterned panels and toe box, while Pink accents with 3M reflective runs down the sides and heel pull loops. The side panels have a Yellow label with UN/LA and Union appearing on the medial side of the midsole. Other details include Brown on the sole with Nike branding.
