Celebrating the latest installment of TEDx Talks, TEDxPortland has connected with Nike to create a special Air Trainer 1 which is based off the original release.
Looking closer it features a White perforated leather upper while Grey suede lands on the overlays, Black leather is placed on the heel and by the toe. Following we have Red accents throughout while TEDxPortland logos land on the tongue label, ‘SPREAD’ and ‘IDEAS’ land on the collars, dots placed on the heel as a tribute to ‘connecting the dots’ and inspirational words across the insoles.
Sadly this pair was only available at the event that took place over the weekend. While a wider release is unknown, more than likely it won’t take place. You can always try eBay but they won’t be cheap. Below you can check out more images for a closer look.
Update 5/25: Here is your chance to own this Nike Air Trainer 1 from TEDxPortland. They will be auctioning off 20 pairs with proceeds going towards the organization’s 2020 scholarship fund. This will help cover the cost of student tickets to next year’s event.
Limited to 200 pairs, 20 of those are currently available via eBay.
