With all of the hype surrounding and efforts put into releases like the “White Label Edition” Half Cab Pro’s, it’s pretty impressive how the Vans team seems to never lose track of all of its duties. In celebration of what is the brand’s 27th annual Triple Crown of Surfing event- which kicks off this November at Hawaii’s North Shore- Vans has teamed up with world renowned artist Taka Hayashi to come up with the pair of Authentic’s we’re showing you here. Drawing inspiration from the Hawaiian venue, this pair of sneakers comes in a black canvas upper that consists also of a reef-like pattern. The water is represented on the bottom of the shoe, which comes in all-blue; and inside the shoe there is an orange and white pattern with the words “Vans Triple Crown of Surfing Hawaii” spelled out. A predominantly white sole with orange label on the heel and complementary second pair of laces in orange tops this very sleek collaborative sneaker design. Check with your local Vans retailers as these have started to become available online.
