In 2023, Jordan Brand is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 8. So far, we have seen original models return and a few new ones, but most have been talking about the upcoming SoleFly collaboration. Lacuning for the Holiday 2023 season, we have the “Mi Casa Es Su Casa” SoleFly x Air Jordan 8, which has plenty of details that connect to the boutique and come in a clean color scheme.
Previously, we saw a few samples of the SoleFly x Air Jordan 8 collaboration. However, the retail version is different from what we saw. The previous samples were inspired by the Diamond Turf, a popular Nike model intended for football and training.
This Air Jordan 8 comes dressed in a Sail, Fossil, Varsity Red, and Metallic Gold color combination. The inspiration comes from cigars, which we have seen on previous Air Jordans, but SoleFly’s has a different look. Utilizing a mixture of White and Sail throughout with Varsity Red on the liner and Metallic Gold hardware. Highlighted with “SF” embroidered onto the cross-straps and lands on the right insole. The lateral side has mesh on the panels with a unique design, and the signature chenille patch lands on the tongues. Other details include aged details, Navy on most of the outsole, and each pair comes with special packaging resembling a box of cigars.
