Ronnie Fieg has almost singlehandedly revived ASICS over the past couple of years, with their collaborations allowing the brand to resonate with sneakerheads. The “Mint Leaf” colorway of the Gel Lyte III released back in July exclusively through David Z in New York City and sold out immediately. Fans have also been eagerly awaiting the previously seen “Leatherback”.
This morning Fieg announced that the “Salmon Toe” and “Leatherback” ASICS Gel Lyte III will both see a limited release through his new KITH shop, with more concrete info coming soon.
The aforementioned “Salmon Toe” covers issue #22 of Sneaker Freaker, opposite the LeBron 9 “Miami”.
