Rapper RiFF RaFF recently took to Instagram and announced a collaboration he is doing with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 5. While we believe this to be a hoax and rather a custom made for him, we feel obligated to fill you in on the details.
RiFF RaFF said his Air Jordan 5 would release later in 2015 at stores like Champs Sports, Foot Locker, Foot Action and Flight Club. If you know sneakers, Flight Club is a consignment store and not a retailer like Champs etc. He goes on to say the retail price will be $750 which includes the Jordan 5s, autograph Peach Panther and The Purple Panther Album. He also went on Twitter and is calling them the ‘Air Aquaberry’ but says if you pick them up included is VIP access to all his concerts.
While we can’t confirm if the information is real, it would be a first time Jordan Brand is collaborating on a project so big and the highest retail price to date. What are your thoughts?
