If you were planning on grabbing the Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘WTK’ this Saturday, we you will have to hold off for a day as the brand pushed the release date back.
For unknown reason, Nike has changed the WTK release date from Saturday, January 10th to Sunday January 11th. This isn’t extremely bad, but since a couple pairs are releasing on the 10th it may allow you to get pairs both days. While this is only speculation, but we feel the reason Nike moved the release forward a day is due to the amount of hype. The What the Kobe 9 will be the only pair dropping on the day which should help their servers maintain the traffic.
Just a heads up, retail price has been bumped up to $275 a $50 mark up from previous Elites.
