Puma is looking not only to tap into the Basketball and Soccer markets, but other markets including Sailing. Puma has extended their line of sneakers with the Sailing collection, inspired by their Ocean Racing Team. Puma introduces the Kite L, a sneaker tailored to work on wet surfaces.
The Kite L is composed from water and salt-resistant leather as well as a draining system which uses a quick drying feature to stay dry. Puma releases their Sailing collection at foot of the 2008-2009 Volvo Ocean Race, a nine-month race circling the world. Look for the Sailing collection to drop at sailing specialty stores, select PUMA Concept Stores, and Puma.
