The adidas Originals Consortium Stan Smith Collection made its way back to the sneaker scene last month, keeping it simple with crisp White leather and accents of Fairway Green. For the 2014 Winter Olympics, adidas Originals is releasing a collaboration pack for the Opening Ceremony using a baseball theme.
Using the mid edition of the Stan Smith, the Opening Ceremony sneakers replaced the perforated stripes with leather that is woven (mimicking that on a baseball or baseball glove) through metal eyelets. The sneaker is available in two colors, White or New Navy, with “Opening Ceremony” branded onto the tongue and heel. You can purchase either pairs at select retail stores such as END.
