Nina Chanel Abney is an artist born in Harvey, Illinois and now resides in New York. She explores pop culture, race, gender, and other social issues through her artwork. Abney’s work will be shown through her Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 Low collaboration.

This low-top Air Jordan 2 by Nina Chanel Abney comes dressed in a White, Malachite, Neutral Grey, and Sail color combination. The build is similar to her other AJ2 and features Grey suede on the toe cap, minimal perforations, and a solid Green heel counter that lacks contours or grooves. The upper comes in White with a mixture of smooth and reptile texture leather. Giving the pair vintage vibes, we have Sail across the midsole.

Highlighting the pair, Abney’s artwork lands on the hangtag that’s shaped like a picture frame. The infamous photo used of Michael Jordan being doubled teamed by the Lakers during the 1986-87 season. More Green hits the Wings branding on the tongue, heel pull tab, and across the insoles with ‘Nina Chanel Abney’ written. Lastly, both Green and Grey land on the rubber outsole to finish the look.

You can expect the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 Low to release in women’s sizing on July 8th, 2022 at select retailers, including Nike.com. The retail price is $225.
