When the Nike Air Trainer 1 dropped earlier this year, a lot of us we surprised not to see the model fitted with a strap, a defining attribute of the shoe it was inspired by. However, the sneaker’s latest revamping has lead to the creation of the Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid, a model in which the absent forefoot strap has returned. Retaining its predecessor’s flywire upper, diamond grooved outsole, and heel panel, the biggest change made is the addition of the strap, an effort to provide that authentic Air Trainer fit. The model is expected to hit retailers in July/August 2010 for around $90.nike-trainer-1-2-mid-red
