Nike Sportswear “Crescent City” Collection

Nike is showing NOLA a lot of love this year! Nike just released details about their NOLA Gumbo League a couple days ago, and now we’re getting a look at another New Orleans-dedicated pack. The Nike Sportswear “Crescent City” Collection pulls inspiration from the food, culture, and distinctive wildlife that make New Orleans unique. The Nike Air Up ’14 dons a crustacean red upper, drawing inspiration from crawfish -a ‘Nawlins must. The Air Force 1 Low CMFT represents the coming together of ingredients to make a another Big Easy dish, gumbo. Combining materials like foamposite and cork, and prints such as safari, gator, pony hair, and more, these shoes are a dead on representation. The all black Flystepper 2K3 takes on gator additions to it’s Zoom 2K3 inspired design. The strap enclosures are made of faux-gator skin, and a raised gator-like pattern is on the toe cap. The Nike Sportswear” Crescent City Collection will be available on Nike, on February 13!
