It is known as the Nike SB PS8, aka Problem Solver 8, which pays tribute to Sandy Bodecker, whose screen name on Instagram is @Problemsolver8. Furthermore, the shoes aim to solve eight distinct problem sets discovered by the Nike Sports Research Lab and Nike team skaters.
The Nike SB PS8 combines Flyknit and leather with a PU coating on the upper. Built with a groundbreaking midsole with a unique foam compound and nylon plate, which allows for responsiveness during skating. As for the first color scheme presented, it features “Ultramarine” vibes. Highlighted with White throughout the upper with Blue on the lower portion of the tongue, mini Swoosh, and branding. It also comes with Blue splatter on the Swoosh logos, with “Bowerman” and “Prototype” on the tongues. A vibrant Red drapes the upper portion of the midsole, while the lower part is encapsulated with a translucent hue. Completing the design is a rubber outsole.
