Nike Unveils Paul George’s Second Signature Shoe, the PG 2

Nike PG 2 Official

The Nike PG 2 is a followup to Paul George’s signature shoe with Nike Basketball. When the Nike PG 1 was introduced to the market, it had success and now we have the PG 2 on the way.

Nike PG 2 Technology

The overall design of the Nike PG2 features a more traditional tongue construction which differs from the PG1 that has a bootie construction. George still wanted a lockdown fit, so this is where Hardman added what he calls the ‘dynamic wings’ at the forefoot.

The Nike PG 2 also features a new underfoot with the Zoom Air unit in the forefoot has increased to 10 millimeters. Following Nike Basketball has made improvements to the overall traction.

From the first colorway, this Nike PG 2 features shades of Blue across the uppers while the outsole has Light Blue. In addition Silver is used on the Nike Swoosh that lands on the panels along with hints of Orange on the outsole. The heel will also have some sort of graphic, but its hard to tell what it is. Finishing the look is the Nike PG logo on the tongues.
