The Nike Kyrie 3 ‘Duke’ pays tribute to Irving’s alma mater. The University of Duke men’s basketball team will wear this pair on-court tomorrow, however they will land at retail stores during March.
This Nike Kyrie 3 which represents Duke comes in a Blue, Black and White color theme. Across the panels is jersey like material while the left heel reads ‘DU’ and the right ‘KE’. Completing the look is a chenille Nike Swoosh which is inspired by varsity jackets and his number 1 on the tongue.
“My time at Duke taught me discipline and cohesion of a championship-level program,” says Irving. “I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything, it was a great road for me to take before landing in Cleveland.”
Nike Kyrie 3 Duke Release Date
The ‘Duke’ Nike Kyrie 3 is scheduled to release at select Nike Basketball retailers on March 10th, 2017. Retail price will be $120. Below you can check out additional images which will give you a closer look.
