The “Halo” collection was introduced in August 2023, and the first release was the “Halo” Kobe 8 Protro. Both Nike Basketball and Vanessa Bryant confirmed that we would see more releases as part of the “Halo” series, which would become an annual series. Nike Basketball originally released the Kobe 9 Elite Low in March 2014, and it is the low-top version of the silhouette. Furthermore, 2024 will mark the 10th Anniversary of its initial debut.
Like the other releases, this Nike Kobe 9 comes dressed in all-White. The shoes will feature the “Triple White” theme but will have Black details. The upper is constructed with Flyknit, while most of the upper is dipped in White. We also have Kobe’s signature on the lateral side and his logo on the tongues and outsole. Speaking of the outsole, the thread resembles a foot. Lastly, Black carbon fiber adorns areas of the midsole.
