The first time we saw the “Reverse Grinch” Kobe 6 Protro was in 2021 via a live stream. PJ Tucker would eventually wear them on the court against the San Antonio Spurs. Fast forward to 2022, and Anthony Davis was spotted wearing them on-court. Over the past several years, the colorway has been rumored to release. However, we can now confirm that the pair will debut at retailers.
This Nike Kobe 6 Protro features a Bright Crimson, Black, and Electric Green color combination. Essentially, the shoes feature a reverse color blocking as the “Grinch” Kobe 6. Utilizing Bright Crimson snakeskin texture across the upper with Black Swoosh logos on the panels. Adding pop, we have Electric Green on the laces and Kobe branding on the tongue. Finishing the look is Bright Crimson on the midsole and rubber outsole.
