Nike Basketball and Kobe Bryantโs estate will expand on the โHaloโ series, with the release of the Nike Kobe 10 Elite Low Protro. The model was originally released in 2015, and the last pair we saw debut was the โFTBโ iteration in 2016. In my opinion, this will be the first time the shoes will be retro.
The โHaloโ series honors Kobe Bryantโs birthday each year, and the series started in 2023 with the Kobe 8. In 2024, we saw the debut of the Kobe 9 Elite High and the Kobe 9 Elite Low. Lastly, in 2025, we saw the return of the Kobe 3 in Protro form.
Typically, in Kobe Halo releases, the pair is dressed mostly in White. However, itโs possible the shoes will feature Black accents. Although I can confirm the return of the Nike Kobe 10, the image used is a mock-up, and what releases may differ. The good news is that the pair will be the Elite version, meaning it will be constructed with Flyknit, which is expected to be covered in White. We can also expect the signature Flywire cables and Kobe shield logo on the tongues. Lastly, the pair will feature a White midsole and a matching rubber outsole.

Bottom Line
During the initial run of Kobe 10 releases, Nike Basketball put out a ton of great colorways. However, the “Halo” pair was not one of them. However, this release is special as it celebrates Bryant’s birthday. I can appreciate the meaning behind the shoes, but I am not a big fan of mostly White kicks. I do hope this is a sign of more color options returning next year.
