Kevin Durant’s 15th signature shoe, the KD 15, will soon cease and will move on to the next model in his line, the KD 16. Usually, when a signature shoe comes to an end, the brand releases a ‘What The’ pair, which combines elements from past colorways. This started in 2007 on the Nike SB Dunk Low and, soon after, crossed over to its basketball line. One of the final releases will be the ‘What The’ KD 15.
Looking closer, this Nike KD 15 features an Action Grape, White, Black, and Pink Foam color combination. Utilizing elements from previous KD 15s, including various prints and materials. Constructed with a multilayered mesh on the upper, glow-in-the-dark TPU wings and a molded heel. Next, we have the signature full-length Air Zoom Strobel that’s stitched directly to the upper. KD logos land on the tongues and insoles, and ‘EA$Y is embroidered on the pulls tabs with his old number 7. The look is completed with mismatched rubber outsoles.
