Nike Foamposite One Retro Black/Varsity Red Detailed Look

January of 2007 the Nike Foamposite One Retro Penny made its debut after 10 years of its Original release, but Nike over this year has released different color ways of the Foamposite One Retro.

We had showed you a small preview of the Nike Foamposite One Retro Black/Varsity Red, and now we have a detailed look along with some good news: They are slowly releasing to Nike accounts across the world. Although this is not a color way Penny Hardaway wore back in the 90s, the Foamposite One Retro still features the 1 cent logo. Retail is $200, via Young Sherlock and Big Cook.

  10. PhilWil: The Black and Cactus will probably come out on November 1st when they update the nikestore.com Member's Only site. If they don't come out right on the 1st on the update they'll likely have a more specific date than just "November."

  24. The Penny Foamposite's are definitely a classic and, can stand alone in a world full of Dunks, AF1's, and AJ's. It set off a revoloution in the kicks game that NO sneaker company can match. I myself don't care for the the colorway(it'll work for Penny and, all of his fans in Miami. I hear he'll come off the bench to spell Wade)but, regardless of the colorway, these are still some ill kicks(I have the blue with black swoosh, and the all black colorway). Personally, I feel the black and cactus colorway is way more hotter than these, but that's just my opinion(and the next ones I plan on coppin'). All in all these are still a ill pair to cop and, get's the highest of votes…4 ****'s and a 1/2 outta 5. I dropped 1/2 a star because of the red(looks to much like a Bulls colorway)but, like I said, that's just my opinion.

  31. These by far hands down one of the best, i got them already, but the black and silver ones will never be topped all i need are the eggplant ones and my collection is complete…………..i have every single foamposite, and flightposite that has ever been released………..just call me Mr. Foamposite

    1. These aren’t supposed to be “icy”!! These are the ’07 black & red foams, not the ’10-’11 “cough drops”, those had the translucent red soles. These are the 10th anniversary black & red solid soles. If you read the post you’d know it was from ’07, 3-4 years before the cough drops came out & are %100 real.
