Nike’s EKIN is a group of employees that are Nike storytellers and product knowledge experts. The EKINs are in place to help educate the marketplace, which means they help teach retailers and consumers about product and brand stories. You will often find them on the mic at a Nike event or on the sales floor at your favorite place to shop for Nike products. EKIN is Nike spelled backwards, it means they put the end first. In this case, it means you, the athlete/consumer, comes first.
Celebrating individuals who are part of EKIN, Nike will release a special Dunk Low. Looking closer, they come dressed in a White, Neutral Grey, Medium Grey, and Orange Trance color combination. This Nike Dunk Low features Grey across the uppers while Orange adorns the suede Swoosh and heel overlay that has ’NIKE’ and ‘EKIN’ in White. Next, we have a small Nike logo on the forefoot and Orange on the tongue label. Finally, a White midsole and Black rubber outsole finish the look.
