Nike Dunk High ‘Culture Day’ Inspired by the Extinct Naumann Elephant

The Nike Dunk High ‘Wolf Grey’ pays tribute to the 1985 ‘Be True To Your School’ Pack, which will be seen on the insoles.

This Nike Dunk High features shades of Grey while Cream hits the laces and midsole for a vintage look. Next, the pair comes with the traditional tumbled leather while suede lands on the overlays, and smooth leather appears on the Swoosh logos. Other details include an image on the insoles that nods to the Nike advertisement using the College ‘Be True To Your School’ Pack and a translucent outsole.

Update (4/22): Following the details on the Air Force 1 Mid, this Dunk High will release a part of Nike’s ‘Culture Day’ collection that’s inspired by the sneaker communities and unique styles of districts like Ueno, Shibuya, and Harajuku. For this pair, it pays tribute to the Naumann Elephant. An extinct species that was native to Japan during the Middle to Late Pleistocene period. A release will take place via SNKRS Korea on April 27th.
