Nike has officially announced the six kids that will be designing the 2016 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection from the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s hospital.
Each child has a story which will be interpreted through a pair of sneakers and apparel from Nike. Currently the announcement of which sneakers each child is designing has yet to take place, the auction will take place on October 28th, 2016 in Portland, Oregon.
This marks the 13th edition of the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection which as you probably expected, we will another sold-out release. Below you can read a bit more about each kid partaking in the latest series. As always, make sure to check back with us for additional updates.
Corwin Carr, 11, Hood River, Oregon
