Going under the radar, the Nike Cortez is celebrating it’s 45th Anniversary. To help further the models legacy, Nike Sportswear will introduce a new special edition known as the Nike Cortez ‘Long Beach’ which pays tribute to Long Beach, California.
This Nike Cortez comes dressed in a Royal Blue and White color combination. Royal Blue covers the uppers while constructed with suede and nylon. Following we have White on the Nike Swoosh, liner and midsole. Metallic Gold is placed on the lace locks and tongue branding. The same color is used on the heel which displays ‘LONG BEACH’ and ‘LBC’. On the inside of the tongues we have the year 1972 and 2017 while XLV is on the insole.
Nike Cortez Long Beach Release Date
The Nike Cortez Long Beach is scheduled to release at select Nike Sportswear retailers including online at Nike.com on June 1st, 2017. Retail price is set at $100.
