Nike continues to revisit some of its classic training silhouettes, and the Air Trainer SC is once again getting the spotlight. Connected to Bo Jacksonโs signature line from the early โ90s, the model previously received the โAtlanta Olympicsโ treatment in 2016 for the 20th Anniversary of the Games. Now, for the 30th Anniversary, Nike is bringing the theme back with a new twist.
This Nike Air Trainer SC features a Pro Purple, White, Sail, and Metallic Gold color combination. Instead of the teal shades used on the 2016 release, this pair swaps them for shaggy Purple suede across the upper, with matching leather overlays. White lands on the straps, laces, tongue, and midsole, while Metallic Gold accents appear on the hardware and branding.ย
Another highlight is the embroidered peach logo on the tongue, paying tribute to Georgia. In addition, the pair features โ96 branding on the insoles along with a translucent outsole covered in multicolor confetti graphics inspired by the original Atlanta Olympics logo. Reflective details also appear throughout the upper.
