Nike Air Max Penny 1 “1996 All Star Game” Customs by Dank Customs

nike-air-max-penny-1-1996-all-star-game-customs-by-dank-customsYou know Dank Customs always brings some major heat for his fans, but he just took things to a whole other level with this next project! Allow Mr. Dank to take it back to the NBA All Star Game 1996…

The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “1996 All Star Game” customs by Dank Customs feature a turquoise and grey colorway, with pink and orange accents. In ’96, the NBA All Star game was held in San Antonio, TX, home of the Spurs, who are currently facing off against the Miami Heat for this year’s playoffs. Throwback Spurs colors are used for the uniforms of the ’96 All Star game uniforms, and Dank revived the old hues in this custom. Turquoise makes a dominate appearance, sweeping along the midfoot and toes. Two tones of grey finish off the uppers, while an eye-grabbing tribal-like pattern adorns the rear, sole unit. Pops of pink and orange can be seen within the rear of the sole, and on the ankle tabs and tongue tabs. A clean, white outsole covers the foundation and brings these kicks to a close.

Dank Customs killed these Air Max Penny 1s! We’ve never seen a throwback concept like this. Real Spurs fans are going to go HAM over these. Check some more shots and angles of this project down below, and contact Dank Customs for any serious custom inquires.
