In the last two years there seems to have been an unprecendented number of new basketball sneaker designs/releases. And what is perhaps more unprecedented is how successful each has been with their own unique components. Before welcoming in the new decade, we saw a Nike Blazer nicknamed the “Carbon Fiber,” and while many might have let that pair pass by, Nike sure remembers it. Pictured here is yet another Nike basketball silhouette in a black/white-grey colorway and mold that will remind many sneakerheads of the Nike Hypermax that came out not too long ago. A carbon strip can be found running from around the toe panel, through the base, and up to the ankle area. These are expected to release from select Nike retailers some time soon, perhaps even in time for some NBA players still in the Playoffs to lace them up.
