Nike Air Max 1 Added to the ‘Athletic Department’ Pack

Nike Air Max 1 Athletic Department FN7487-133

In 2022, Nike Sportswear celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the Air Max 1, which resulted in multiple colorways being released. Typically, the following year, the amount of pairs would slow down. However, that’s not the case for this model. With the number of drops coming in 2023, the Air Max 1 is starting to catch up with the Dunk. For our next viewing, we have another new pair of the AM1 that will be part of Nike’s ‘Athletic Department’ collection.

This Nike Air Max 1 comes dressed in a White, Black Forest, Neutral Grey, and Varsity Maize color combination. As usual, the shoes feature leather, suede, mesh, and nubuck. Utilizing White on the base, Grey suede overlays, and Black nubuck across the mudguards and leather Swoosh logos. Nylon drapes the tongue with Black nylon on the collars. Varsity Maize, a shade of Yellow lands on the top eyelets, tongue branding, insoles, and two areas on the outsole. Nike Air embroidery adorns the heels, and ‘Athletic Department’ branding is spotted on the insoles. Other details include an aged midsole and a mostly Black rubber outsole.

You can expect the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Athletic Department’ to release later this year at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price is $150. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
