The Nike Air Force 1 SK8 “Black Gum” will be released in the Summer of 2025. Retailing for $120, the shoes won’t be part of the Nike Skateboarding line, but does have an upgraded build that’s more equipped to skate in.
Months ago, we announced that Nike Sportswear would introduce a skate-friendly Air Force 1 to the market in the Summer of 2025. Although a skate sneaker, this pair won’t officially be part of the Nike Skateboarding line. However, the brand added details like suede for flip tricks and a Gum sole for traction (among other things that appear to have been removed). One of the upcoming colorways is the “Black Gum” rendition.
The retail pair appears to be different from the samples we saw early on. If this shoe is the Nike Air Force 1 SK8, it lacks the branding on the tongues and is thinner than we initially saw. Furthermore, Nike has removed the mini Swoosh by the toe.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low features a clean Black, White, and Gum Light Brown color scheme. Highlighted with Black across the upper, while leather appears on the panels and toe box. In addition, Black suede wraps the toe, runs down the eyestays, quarter panels, and wraps the heels. White adorns the Swoosh logos, tongue branding, laces, and “Air” on the Black midsole to further the simplistic theme. Other details include Nike Air debossed onto the heel and a Gum rubber outsole.
