Nike continues to push themed Air Force 1 releases, especially around Halloween, and this pair might be one of the better concepts we’ve seen in a while. Over the years, we’ve seen everything from mummy-inspired Dunks to horror-themed Air Force 1 releases, but the “Ghostface” concept fits naturally on the AF1. The model already has a simple build that lets Nike experiment without doing too much, and from early mock-ups and leaked information, the pair appears to keep things clean while still standing out.

This Nike Air Force 1 Low features a White leather upper paired with Black accents throughout. The overlays will feature sharp contrast detailing that resembles the shape and flow of the Ghostface mask. In addition, Nike is using a tattered Swoosh logo on the panels, giving the shoes a worn horror-inspired look.

The heel will feature a cut-out Swoosh with Red in the background. Special Air Force 1 branding is used on the tongue to resemble the logo, while a cell phone lace dubra is intact. Lastly, a Black midsole and matching rubber outsole completes the look.

Bottom Line

The “Ghostface” Nike Air Force 1 Low has the potential to be one of those releases people regret sleeping on later. Nike has done countless themed Air Force 1 drops over the years, but most of them either try way too hard or end up looking gimmicky after the hype dies down. This pair avoids that problem by keeping the design wearable while still tying into the horror theme. Personally, I think that’s the smartest direction Nike could’ve taken.
