Following the midnight release of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Copper,” Nike is making sure it does its best too rip through our pockets with a second release of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant” in the past two years. The rumors are true; the “Eggplants” will once again be releasing, this time around on March 6th of this year. They will drop from select Nike retailers as they did last time, which of course include House of Hoops locations and certain Foot Locker stores nationwide. Do we even have to ask? Which pair is hotter- the Copper or the Eggplant Nike Air Foamposite One?

  12. These is WACK! If I had to choose between the Coppers or these, I would choose NONE because I still wear my blue Penny foams that came out in '07! Those are the best colorway!

  13. Before anybody gets their feelings hurt and start talkin greasy, I say they wack because I only f*** with OG colorways! Thats all. Penny never wore no Copper or Eggplant Foams! The same with Jordans! If it aint OG colorway, I aint wastin my money!! That goes with any shoe from any athlete whether its basketball, football or baseball! OG all the way!

  16. nike must have had leftovers in storage. the eggplant color was a concept back in the days when he was in phoenix but they used it on the flightposite instead but the turnout wasnt as they expected back in the day so they shelved it until now.

  19. @ Stuntastic & Gz Up I feel yall! Really I do! I guess Im just stuck in my ways! i guess when the shoe first comes out in its original colorway, thats what makes the shoe! If you like it, you like it. If you dont, you dont! But when you start remaking them in different colors, then I think it kinda takes away from its originality and depreciate its rarity! Like with all these J's! Whoever thought Jordan would be releasing his classics in Celtics, Magic or Pistons colorways? LOL Ya feel me? It just makes the originals less desirable and appealing because the shoe will keep releasing in all different colors! Like earlier, some dude tried clownin cause I was wearing my orange and blue Bo Jacksons but he was wearing some wack a** Fusions with fat laces!! LOL F*** Outta Here!

  21. @Gabe i feel you about the og colorways in all sneakers but some new colorways are the ish…example 2000 olympic VI fuckin amazing…BUT on the otherhand some of the shit is horrible…example light blue and silver VIII…lmao but c'mon son coppers and eggplants are the shit….im a semi sneakerhead cause all i wear/collect is jordans and forces but i had to do the eggplants and coppers….somethin bout em…BESIDES PENNY HIMSELF SAID HE WANTED TO SEE THIS COLORWAY….IT WAS HIS IDEA….

  23. I HAVE BOTH PAIR OF FOAMS! THE COPPERS ARE TOUGH CUZ THEY JUST SHINE CRAZY. LIGHT UP ANY ROOM. THEY JUST HARD TO MATCH… THE GRAPE (EGGPLANTS) JOINTS ARE FIRE TOO! AND CAN EASILY BE MATCHED UP W/ ANYTHING PURPLE! BUT DA GRAPES WERE SO LIMITED THEY HAD TO DROP AGAIN. THEY'RE A LIL BIT BETTER THAN THE COPPERS! THEY'RE LIKE KOBE AND LEBRON! LOL
