Nigo is taking his talents to Nike, and we can confirm that the Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 Low collaboration will be released in Fall 2024.
Nigo has created A Bathing Ape and Human Made and has worked with other brands, including adidas. However, news broke several months back that he would bring his talents to Nike in 2024 after 20 years with the Three Stripes brand. At the time, information on which shoe he would collaborate on was slim. However, we have received confirmation from our sources that in Fall 2024, the Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 Low will be released.
Nigo’s brand Bape has launched several models that strongly resembled silhouettes from Nike, including the Air Force 1 and Air Max 1. As most know, Nike is very protective of its intellectual property. So, why would they sign Nigo? Well, in 2011, he sold Bape to I.T Group for roughly $2.8 million, and in 2013, Nigo officially left Bape.
Recently, Nigo was spotted wearing a pair of Nike Air Force 3 Low in New York. The pair he wore resembled the “Escape” Air Force 3 High that was originally released in 1998 and saw a re-release in 2005. While we can confirm his collaboration will be on the Air Force 3 Low, we currently don’t have details on the colorway that will be released or the number of pairs arriving at retailers.
