Nicole McLaughlin has been making waves in the sneaker community since 2018 when she progressed from a hobby to a career making sustainable fashion. This has resulted in her unique takes on various sneakers that are eco-friendly. Residing in New York, some of her past work includes transforming volleyballs into slippers and using various materials for collections with Reebok and Fila. However, in 2024, she will take her talents to Puma and give her take on the Puma Suede.
McLaughlin’s Puma Suede features a patchwork design in various vibrant shades. With her past work, she is known for her DIY creations, shown here by the handcrafted-like design and stitching throughout. The patchwork comes in shades of Cream, Orange, Red, Purple, Blue, Navy, and Peach. Furthermore, the Puma Suede branding appears on the panels. Furthering the look, a kiltie is added to the laces; Grey suede adorns the heels and liner. Other details include a Cream tongue and a White rubber sole.
