In 2023, New Balance and Kawhi Leonard introduced his latest signature shoe, the Kawahi 3. Unfortunately for fans of his line and the Clippers All-Star, New Balance pulled the model from shelves in February 2023. The shoes had a manufacturing issue with the lace eyelets, which prevented them from working correctly. This resulted in the Kawahi 3 being a limited release and available only in two colorways. Taking the setback as a learning lesson, both Kawhi and New Balance will return with a new signature shoe for Leonard, the New Balance Kawahi 4, which will arrive at retailers during Spring/Summer 2024.
So far, the Kawhi 4 has been unveiled in two colorways. Both pairs feature a low-top design, incorporating mesh across the upper for breathability. In addition, we have TPU overlays with a wave-like pattern for stability. Kawhi’s logo adorns the tongues, while the New Balance “N” logo appears on the top eyelet and medial side. Other personal touches include the Roman numeral IV on the vamp, a nod to the shoes being his fourth signature shoe, and “Kawhi” written across the heels. Other details include a cushioned midsole and a rubber outsole.

You can expect the New Balance Kawhi 4 in the “Transcend to Reality” and “Transcend the Game” will be released at select New Balance retailers and online via NewBalance.com on April 25th, 2024.
