The New Balance brand seems to be gaining momentum and benefitting from celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, who is often seen sporting one of its sneakers. For this spring/summer, New Balance prepared the 1100 pictured here- a form-fitting shoe with a running silhouette, but designed for lifestyle wear. Aiming for both sleekness and being lightweight, the New Balance 1100 clearly borrows from the brand’s history of running shoes. The upper consists of a mono-mesh, while the sole is so flexible that it enhances the fit-to-foot style New Balance is going for. The New Balance 1100 is available now in red/black and silver/black from Neiman Marcus department stores and other participating retailers for $110 retail.
