The Liberty x NikeCourt Collection is inspired by the British summers, while not particularly analogous with sunshine, are renowned for grass court tennis and brilliant flowers.
The exclusive print, Dawn Meadow, features wildflowers such as Wood Anemone, Stitchwort, LondonPride and Cornus Sanguinea, which populate both the country’s fervently freewheeling gardens and bucolic fields. The hand-painted floral landscape, inspired by botanical drawings from the Liberty archive, adorns six classic Nike silhouettes.
The NikeCourt Tennis Classic leads the collection, followed by the Air Zoom Vapor 9.5, Air Max 1, Air Rift, Benassi Slide and Cortez.
The Liberty x Nike Court Tennis Classic will first release on June 16th at liberty.co.uk and at Liberty London. The US will debut the collection on June 25th which will be available in-store and online at select Nike Sportswear retailers. Below are additional photos of what’s to come.
