It was only a matter of time until someone came out with a version of “What the” for D. Wade’s Li-Ning sneaker. The creative genesis behind this custom is none other than Mache Customs himself. He uses previous themes of the Way of Wade sneakers and mashes them into one sneaker which he dubbed “What the Wade”. According to the man himself, Mache explains:
“What the Wade” mixing some of the more notable themes from the Li-ning #wayOfWade 1. Represented on this are the Shanghai, #teamnosleep, gold rush, both blue and purple all star stingwades, dynasty, Christmas, caution, Veterans Day, warrior, code red and announcement. This one is for all the way of wade fans, not everyone is gonna like it, and it’s supposed to be that way.”
